Hi! I’m Rachel, owner of Going Coastal Premier Property Management here in Wilmington, NC. I'm so excited to assist you in caring for one of your most valuable assets, or to host you at one of my many beautiful properties along coastal Carolina!

I grew up in a small town outside of Raleigh as the oldest of three girls, grounded in strong family values. I attended UNC Wilmington, where I earned a BS degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. Go Seahawks! I’ve now lived here for over half my life and truly can’t imagine calling anywhere else home. I began my career working in the restaurant industry through college, where I developed strong customer service skills that still shape the way I do business today. I’ve been in real estate for over 20 years and founded Going Coastal Property Management a decade ago. The business was built entirely through personal referrals and word of mouth—without any advertising—which speaks to the trust and relationships I value so deeply. As the market has become more competitive, I’ve decided to expand our marketing efforts to ensure my clients’ properties receive the exposure they deserve. I’m also a proud mom of two very active middle school boys, who are by far my greatest accomplishment. Most of my free time is spent cheering them on at games and being active with them, exploring and traveling to new places together. When I do find a little downtime, I enjoy volunteering at school, all kinds of exercise, cooking, photography, sunset boat rides, and anything related to health and wellness. Lover of great vegetarian food, a good hot coffee, and mountain sunrises. I enjoy meeting new people, learning what makes the world go round, and sharing my love for this beautiful place we call home. I’m passionate about building lasting relationships with my clients and helping them maximize their investments. As an owner of multiple short-term rentals myself, I bring hands-on experience in all aspects of the business. I pride myself on my strong work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to make things happen—and I’m incredibly grateful for the amazing team I have built that supports this work every day.

Though not an NC native, my family and I have lived here for nearly fifteen years, and have loved every minute! My background centers around customer service, real estate, as well as a decade of military service. My husband and I have three grown daughters and a lovable yellow lab named Carter. We love spending time on our boat just cruising the ICWW, or relaxing the day away on one of the many barrier islands that make this part of North Carolina so special!
